Digimat recognized as R&D 100 Awards finalist

e-Xstream engineering, an MSC Software Company today announced that Digimat, the multi-scale material modeling platform, was selected as a finalist for the R&D 100 Award 2016. E-Xstream engineering developed Digimat Virtual Allowable (“VA”), - a breakthrough software solution using advanced technology, embedded in a vertical solution - to boost the usage of lightweight material in the transportation area to drive down fuel consumption and CO2 emission.

The Finalists were selected by an independent panel of more than 70 judges. This year’s Finalists represent many of industry’s leading organizations and national laboratories, as well as many newcomers to the R&D 100 Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of Invention.”
